Bona,makes a floor restorer.
Hi ! I use a product called quick shine made by Halloway House . This gets put on an already cleaned floor , you squirt it on and use a sponge mop to spread it over the floor. You can use up to 7 coats , that will be like a bowling alley type finish. I use 2 coats and do this once a year , the rest of the year I use hot water and vinegar to clean my wood floors. My floors are over 60 years old , and they look great !!!
I love using Murphys oil soap.
Clean, wax and buff.
If you want to change the color, then strip, sand, stain, and seal. For just a sharper look, Bobble, then strip clean the surface, apply the shine, buff if you use a thick wax coat, then seal if you want a permanent finish. No finish is really permanent, just longer lasting than no finish. Clean and shiny woks best.
