I spilled olive oil from a baking dish on the bottom of my oven and didn't notice until I was preheating the oven and noticed a smell. How can I clean my oven of this?

Hi Helen, I would try dawn ultra. It is really good on grease and oil.
Blue Dawn dish soap works very well.
Try baking soda sprinkled over the spill and spray water over it, let it sit and scrub it off.
Wipe up as much as you can. Then clean with Dawn dish soap. If it still feels oily, use vinegar and baking soda to cut the grease.
Lay some paper towels over the affected area. Dribble white vinegar over the paper towels until saturated. Let it sit a couple hours. Hopefully that will loosen it up so all you have to do is wipe out with a hot damp cleaning cloth.
