How do I get spikes for elimination of Japanese Beetles?
I have heard that there are spikes that will control infestation. Can anyone advise what they are and when to put in ground? Thank you,Bernard

They are actually lawn aerating sandals, Bernard. You walk on the lawn and the spikes are supposed to kill the grubs (larva for of Japanese Beetles). All they need is a nick. Here's the article that ells you more:

Check with your local nursery, not a big box home improvement center. I have never heard of spikes, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. Here are some other remedies you might try.

We tried every single thing last year. Unfortunately the only thing that worked was Seven, which I hate to use. They didn't come back after I nuked them (they loved my beans!) Try a neem oil mix. I haven't heard of the spikes ... maybe these are it? (search "spikes")
