How do I choose pendant lights for my open concept kitchen?
How do I decide on the proper pendent lights in my open concept kitchen dining rooms ? I have ordered glass pendents for the peninsula and I am keeping the white shaded chandelier in dining room ,but I am stuck on the small island lights! I need at least 3 lights for over the island but cant afford the any more of the same glass pendents.Do I get a white shaded island similiar to dining room or get a cheaper glass strip of 3?

The answer somewhat depends on what you like. Some folks prefer pot lights. Those are recessed into the ceiling. There would be no need for dusting and they don't hang down taking up space. Others prefer lights that do hang down because they add a bit of style to the room.
Perhaps you should go to a site that sells kitchen lights and see what you like. Or go to a store like lowes and browse their lighting section. Either way you could pick up some ideas or at least eliminate what you don't like.
