How can I hang a light from my ceiling w/o wiring or drilling holes?
I live in an apartment and I can't drill holes in my ceiling or do any kind of renovation. So how can I hang a light or a light fixture from my ceiling without doing any wiring or drilling holes? Anyone's help would be really appreciated. I'm tired of these stand-up lamps that I have to use

Swag lamp is your only option. Just one hole for a hook in the ceiling to hang the lamp. Run the cord to a wall with an outlet and another hook where the ceiling and wall meet. Run the cord down the wall and plug it in.

I don't see how. Sorry
Years ago this style of lamp used to be called a 'swag' lamp. The method of hanging what is now referred to as a pendant lamp with a plug, (the third and fourth pictures below) is the same.
Using a hook intended for swag lamps will not create a large hole in the ceiling, and if you purchase the right size, should ensure that it is strong enough support the weight of the fixture.
I agree that a swag light may work. Using command hooks will prevent any holes or drilling in your walls. Use a command hook to hang the light fixture from the ceiling. And then swag the cord to the wall and secure in place with another command hook. Be sure to use the command hooks for the weight of your light.
how about a side arm light or floor lamp here's a cheap one to make https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHSu-FR03o8 another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8_j6QdRpzE really low cost https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ5rZrNQBXo&t=492s one more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onTMQ2dvLR4
Can you drill a hole then if you move just spackle it to fix the area? It would be much safer to do that than to try a method that may fail.
Hello. I do think you might need the single swag hook inserted into your ceiling for a structural competent hang.
I’ve tried using command hooks for some decorative items and depending upon the weight of your fixture or could be or not be an ineffective hold. A paper globe shade might work but something more substantial could be a problem.
