Does anyone have a special memory ornament?
I want to remember special people with pieces of their well loved shirts and dresses. I’m looking at small items I can make for grandchildren to keep.

Hi Kate, you could make a small fidget blanket or pillow using the fabric from all those well loved items. Something like this - https://www.interiorfrugalista.com/2016/12/alzheimers-busy-fidget-blanket.html

Kate...I make quilted ornaments for my tree from family member items, can even use jewelry.
You could decoupage the ornament, or make a special throw pillow out of the T shirts. If you sew the neck, sleeves shut and stuff it the T shirt with quilting batting, then sew the bottom shut, they can have a throw pillow for their bed or chair. If the T shirts are plain, you can add printed photos on them. Get a printable kit at office supply stores or Walmart to print photos off the computer, like you and your grandchild together, or a favorite pet that has passed, or anything they love.

Thank you-all!
Yes! I just made a special ornament using my father's handwriting. I traced his handwriting and made it using a vinyl cutter. I put the writing on ornaments filled with epsom salt (snow) and gave it to everyone for Christmas.
