How can I prevent my "full of yard waste" paper bags from the rain?
I don't have any place to store them once full, inbetween biweekly pick-ups. My yard is large, many bags, and not in a position to fully compost yet. Thanks!!!
I think your question is too general for you to receive good help. How about asking much more specific questions. For instance: What is the best way to gain more space in my limited kitchen cabinets, or, I have a tiny bedroom closet--how do I store my shoes and purses?
Ask one or two very specific questions and you will get tons of help. If you need help with storage in several rooms, write a different post for each question so people can give you detailed answers. Also, include 2-3 pictures of the area you are asking about. This really helps people see what your issue is.
Go up not out - by that I mean, use a high boy in the bedroom rather than a dresser. Use tall items like book cases rather than furniture that is low and wide. Use trunks for end tables and a coffee table. Use the space under the beds for storage. If there's room, use a hope chest for linens at the end of the bed. Build shelves over doors for books and such.....pinterest.com has loads of ideas.
Vertical is usually best. Hooks, over the door hangers etc. There is often empty space in interior walls where you can put a shelf.
