Check with your local nursery or contact the County Agricultural Extension Agency.
No One can tell you that it's entirely up to Mother Nature. Old gardening rule "Do Not plant til after Mother's Day last ground freeze" ; FROST your area 50% after march 30th 10% after April 17th. here's their guess https://www.clemson.edu/extension/laurens/yard_garden/15_frost_dates.html most plants will survive/tolerate a blanket of snow then frost but not ground freezing.
The last day of frost varies from year to year depending on the previous winter and so forth. Your best source is your local weather station, call them or keep an eye on their announcements as they will warn you. Also, even if they say all frost is past, you may get a frost anyway and they will tell you of the unexpected frost, then you can simply cover your plants you have out with a sheet or light weight frost blanket you can buy at most nurseries. It will keep off the frost. Sometimes we even slip our potted plants under our patio table for the night to keep off a late frost.
