Cucumbers like warm weather and soil. I wait until my soil is close to fifty degrees before planting most of my veggies and that works really well for me. You at least want the soil to warm up and not have a chance of frost or freeze and have to cover them and hope they don't get bit, cucumbers have a lot of water in the vine.

Hi there, check your local extended weather forecast and once you see that the low temperatures are going to be above 50 for the next 10 days or so, it's probably safe to plant your cucumber plant outside.
