Cinder blocks would work, but aren't the prettiest option.
I've seen many plastic risers but my favorite a solid wood with an inset for a sturdy hold on the bed. Perhaps you could search them on the internet? I bought mine at a tag sale. Good luck.
Use a plumbing pipe with an end cap bid enough for your bed leg to fit down into. Screw the plumbing pipe end cap securely to a block of wood wider than the tube and tall enough for your desired rise.
I don't know about making them, but I bought these for my grandsons dorm room. I did return them because his bed was already lofted, but I would have been very comfortable putting these under his bed. They were very sturdy and we were even going to stack two on top of each other, they were so well made.
