additional pictures of room to see layout would help see what other arrangements would work better can't tell from this picture is the foot of the bed in front of the desk? maybe turn your bed so headboard is next to window so side of bed will be in front of desk, you need to take picture of room from the doorway stand back farther
If you can provide pictures of the entire room, maybe you can get better advice on a layout that would make the window more accessible.
Hi! Not sure what you're asking. Obviously the bed is too large for the room, but you want to keep it - and you also want to get to your window. You could add a drapery hook to hold the curtain away from the window, or a tie-back. Blackout film or even aluminum foil would keep the light out without having to use that heavy blackout curtain - that would give direct access to the window - but you wouldn't have much light. You could also use tension rods inside the window frame, but, as I said, I'm not sure what you're purpose to get to the window is. Hope those ideas help. Have a great day!
If you can, hang the tv on the wall, get a wall mounted lamp and remove the tables from the end of your bed. Then you have a path to the window.
Put the foot of the bed to the windows. You don't always have to be conventional. A lot of times I put my bed in the middle of the room!
From what I can see, your room is over-crowded with furniture too. Can you remove some of it? Need more pictures of your room. What is the square footage?
put the TV on a wall mounting bracket. Put some of your belongings in an Under the bed storage system. Maybe take the footboard off and use a simpler design that doesn't take up too much room.
If you provide a wide angle picture of the room it would be easier to see how to rearrange the furniture. If you put the TV on the wall it would help and get rid of the clutter.
