What are your goals for the room?
A super cute sign behind the door that says "Laundry" or even a small coat hook!
If you're wanting more work space, move the picture and hang narrow shelves with hooks on that wall. I've also seen pivoting arms that you can hang. You fold them back to use the space and then open them for hanging shirts and things as you remove them from the dryer. If you need more horizontal work space, you could get a large cutting board or piece of wood to put over the sink - just store it next to your dryer when you don't need it. If you're looking for style, you can add a bright curtain on a tension rod in the door's window and maybe some fun signs or stencils on the wall.
Do you want to add cute items or practical items? If it is just cute items go for some type of artwork or picture rails. Ideally cute and practical would be a great solution. If you want practical add some narrow floating shelves or even make a niche in the wall for more storage.
Maybe a towel rack so you could hang your towels up instead of draping over the sink. Do you have room for some type of dirty laundry container? Do you need to add room for laundry soap and other related items?
