Any thoughts on what I could do with this piece?
This is a top to an old entertainment center that I could no longer use. I kept the top portion because the love the iron work. Any thoughts on a creative project using the entire piece or maybe just the iron work?

I would use it as a bar...you can put barstools in the open area.
Mandy: Looks like it would make a nice bar area. Maybe you can paint it with exterior paint for use on your patio too.
If it can handle outdoor weather, I'd make it into a gardening station. Put all your supplies in the cabinet and use the shelves for potted plants - function and decor all in one!
You're right, it IS beautiful. If there's a specific room that needs storage (or even your entry) you could refinish the wood and perhaps hang it over a bench or cushion. Depending on the depth, you could also set shelves all the way across and maybe place a mirror where the paneling is now. There are so many possibilities! If you can't really work it in to your decor right now, then definitely store it and keep it in the back of your mind. Something may come up it will be perfect for in the future.
I would paint it and build some kind of base for it. It looks like the makings of a great patio bar to me!
I would use on a wall fill with shelves across the middle and turn it into book shelves.
If you need a space for plants, this would be perfect. Or modify to be a bar, beverage or snack station.
Put hutch on the floor along a wall and use it as an end table. Cups, books, potted plants, knick-knacks on top. Tuck barbells, shoes, yoga mat, space heater, etc under the shelf - on the floor but not a tripping hazard.
A bar maybe!
