The answer is yes, it will anything down to the root.
Yup, sure will. Kills anything that it comes in contact with. Too much salt will render the ground infertile too. What weeds do you want to kill? Where are they? I use: boiling water. Epsom salt followed by boiling water. White vinegar. Method depends on where the weeds are located.
