Do not use on lawn or in garden.
I would only use the vinegar recipes on areas like sidewalks, patios, driveways, etc. The vinegar will kill anything that it touches and if it gets into the soil it changes the soil and gets rid of all the healthy organisms that are needed for healthy grass or gardens. Only use this where you don't want anything to grow.

Hi Jane, here's what I use. in a gallon of white vinegar, mix 1 up of table salt and then just a sqirt of Dawn which makes the mixture stay on the weeds a bit longer. Works every time and is quite inexpensive. Just be sure not to overspray onto plants you want to thrive!
