How do I level a floor?
Level the floor to lay flooring? In crawl space you can see one beam has an extre brick under it. If we take it out it could affect the wall too. Thought maybe using self leveling medium but not sure.

Before you add more weight to floor I'd have someone look why your floor is unlevel and why a brick is needed under a beam. May be serious.
I agree with Kelli. Solve the crawl space issue first. You definitely need better support below the floor before adding any extra weight. New lolly column. New support post. Also may need a better footing for the supports. It may even level the floor. Then if still not level use a self leveling flooring compound.
A single brick should NOT be holding up your house! Definitely get some foundation people in to look at it. Ask a ton of questions and all about what they propose as the fix. It MIGHT be possible that you can DIY but only if you truly trust your skills to be holding up the entire house. My first thought is that floor jacks have to come in to level the whole house and then new and the proper number of footings need to be poured. Not a homeowner fix!
Thank you. That was my first choice. Fix the issue. I believe footers have been settling. My apologies. Was a cinder block not a brick bit basically same thing
Hello-Is your problem structural? Sometimes crawlspaces can be jacked up as seem in multiple home reno shows.
Use THINSET (instant floor leveling material) you pour it on the floor and it levels itself.
