Soak the filters in dish washer soap, in the sink. Also you can soak in ammonia hot water in the sink. What does out of stove mean? The liners under the burners? Do the same way.
White vinegar is another option.
Krud Kutter is really good for degreasing. They sell it at Home Depot
Krud Kutter original concentrate degreaser. Spray it on, let it set a bit, wipe off. I used it on my kitchen cabinets, and then furniture restore. Look like new.
Awesome is the best degreaser I have found and it only costs $1.00. Put filters on newspaper and spray with Awesome. The grease will run right off. Rinse with hot soapy water in the sink and do the same for the stove. Keep up with the grease on or in the stove daily and you won't have a buildup.
