How to change ceramic tiles used as molding?
I have ceramic tiles as molding in the bathroom. I am replacing tub and getting insert. These tiles will not go with new decor and taking them out is not an option as I am a renter. I would like to know how I can change the tiles to match my decor can they painted or some how covered with any other material. Thank you!

Yes you can paint them with an expoxy paint and coordinating binding primer. I’d go to a pro full line paint store for these products and talk to them with your pictures in hand. This paint system often is high VOC, so you’ll next excellent ventilation and gloves.
Since you rent, are you sure you may paint something “built in”?
I also agree you can paint them, but definitely find out if that's allowed.
Get it in writing about any changes you are doing to the property. I assume the landlord is doing the tub redo.
I used Appliance epoxy spray paint. Mask off walls and shower door.
It came off easy with Citrustrip when i had the whole shower redone professionally. it is more durable than regular latex house paint.
Tile transfers might be another option.
