need more info. what is it made of,cement, resin? indoor or outdoor use? do you have the piece or trying to fill it in?
It’s ceramic indoor sculpture. Do not have the missing piece. Want to fill it in.
This statue/sculpture is made of dark clay. Indoor. I don’t have the chip. Want to fill it. Ideas on how to do it. Thanks, Sheila
Try Firmo modeling clay - Michaels carries it - Pick a color close to sculpture's - knead & soften with hands to warm it up, then smoosh carefully into chipped area and with a knife or fingers sculpt outer edge to match - carefully remove & BAKE following directions, then glue onto scuplture. You can sometimes instead find hot-glue in colors & could just put a glob where chip is - shape edge with a metal knife not your fingers while still hot ! You might try just painting the chip to match - either with watercolor or acrylic paint - & see if it "disappears' enough!
Yep. Air dry polymer clay would work. Don't use regular polymer clay because it needs to be baked to harden. Another option is to use Bondo, auto body filler.
I Agree with William on Bondo. I use it for everything now since I watched it as a DIY tip on one of my HGTV or DIY Network shows
Hi Sheila, you can use Bondo (the putty/paste used to patch dents in cars) to fix the chip. You can get it in a variety of colors and once it's set you can sand it smooth and level.
You could use a tile caulk to do it. Good luck
Hello, how about using clay to patch it and then just touch up the paint
