How do I display/hand shoes/heels on the wall?
Have many pairs of beloved beautiful heels, boots and shoes and need ideas how I can take up minimum space (depth) to hang from walls in a rental apartment

Have you seen the tension rod method? As a curtain tension rod, between two walls, next to the wall.
Have you considered buying plastic bins that go under the bed specifically for your shoe collection? If you want to display them, you can always display a few pairs, store the rest, and rotate them at will. The bins will also keep the shoes and boots clean and free from dust.
