Congrats! Lots of adventures coming your way. Whatever you buy be sure it makes sense to have with you. Truly love it and you'll always have room for it. "Gripper" shelf liner works great. Terrific to put under a table arrangement or bowl of fruit on the counter.
Hope these help you out. Send some pictures in and show how you use your items. Others are always interested.
Putting a lot of your supplies in clear plastic totes is a start. Only take things you actually use as you need to keep the weight down.
You can buy rolls of the gripper type shelf liner at Walmart and lots of other places, it will help keep things in cupboards in place. Most RV's have small ovens and stoves, so make sure that you have the size that you need. If you use a large pan on the stove, you may not be able to put much else on the other burners, and make sure you have pans that you can use in the oven. We have a 43' fifth wheel and I still really haven't found anything to fit in the oven to make enough for two to three people for things like French fries. Get extra bedding to use only on the RV so that you aren't having to take from the house each time and perhaps forget to bring things. I went to Salvation Army and got really nice comforters, towels, even placemats for ours. Remember to get any cleaning supplies you may need. I put all my canned goods, side dishes that come in envelopes, spices, etc. in plastic bins from the dollar store. I also got small bins for everything in the drawers, silverware, steak knives, everything to keep them from moving around in the drawers. If you have things like crock pot, small electric appliances like grills, etc. you can use them outside or on the counter to not take up as much stove space. Remember to put on storage contains and baggies for leftovers. Just imagine yourself in your own kitchen, bathroom, etc. and what the things are that you will need for daily living. Also remember to take clothes for all kinds of different weather, umbrellas, etc. Make sure you get a couple of collapsible chairs so that you have something to sit in outside as well as a small collapsible table. Pick the RV that has the layout that you need and that you love, that way you will be comfortable wherever you go in your travels. The RV should come pretty well decorated, you may need to only add in a few things to make it look like home. From experience, make sure your wife can reach the upper shelves and storage cabinets. I don't come close, so we use one of our three step aluminum ladders so that I can get to what I need, just one of those creature comforts that most don't think about. Any other questions, just ask, I'm sure that many others also own RV's and can answer your questions also. Have fun on your travels, nothing better than camping in creature comfort! The dollar store is your friend when it comes to getting things for your kitchen and bathroom.
Since you have limited space, take it out and decide what things you'll want. If you like camping in areas that are rough you might want to think about what you want to use to keep dirt from tracking in. A small carpet isn't always enough if it's a sandy area. Inside of a camper is pretty busy as far as decorations. What do you want outside? Folding chairs? Light, lights? Some people bring string lights for decoration but also for dim lighting at night and to be able to spot their camper among the others. It's seems silly but something as simple as a table cloth on a picnic table makes it look more home like. If you have a chance take a practice camping trip. Make lists and then prioritize. What can you get on the road easily and what should you stock. Then decide on your decorations.
You will want to pack a few tools specifically for the rev. Tire iron, extra tire nuts, bungee cords to help keep thing from shifting , pliers screw drivers, etc. extra set of keys. When packing the rev, put the heavier items above the axels.
