The only way is to not let air get to it.
The tarnish on silver is the natural process of oxygen reacting with the silver. You just have to polish as needed once or twice a year to keep it off.
keep in air tight zip lock bags with no air in the bags(squeeze it all out before sealing) air & moisture creates tarnish on silver
