How to pick up acorns?
How do I get acorns off the lawn? We had an enormous amount of acorns fall last winter. I have tried raking them in a pile and then picking them up with a shovel. There has to be a better way. Please help!

I understand your frustration. I had 5 oak trees. We tried several methods. Leaf blower or snow shovels or brooms. Hope one of these works for you! Good Luck!!!
Hi. Just reread your post. To actually pick up the pile of acorns a shovel was effective. I blew acorns into the street curb and shoveled them up. Oaks are beautiful, but high maintenance in residential settings. đŸ˜€đŸ˜€đŸ˜€
If try sucking them up with a strong shop vac. Remove the filter first.
Try a pooper scooper from the pet aisle at Tractor Supply.
Hi , I don't have oaks , but have to deal with tons of pine needles . But I seem to remember my father using something to puck up grass cuttings and leaves , when I was young , that was a long time ago , about 60 years ago ! It was just a push sweeper , that was NOT electric or gas operated. It had a big triangular canvas holder that you would dump out when it got filled ( it held a lot , at least a lawn and leaf bag full ) maybe an old time farm supply store would carry something like it .
Nut Gatherer/Weasel they sale them at hardware stores
Here is one crazy idea but it apparently works.
