How do I get rid bedbug eggs on my sheets, bedding & clothing?
I had been visiting a friend who had an infestation of bedbugs! As you know they are experienced hitchhikers. So I've been diligent with cleaning , vacuuming, and washing in very hot water followed by a hot dryer period for 45 min. My problem is now I'm trying to get rid of the eggs that are still clinging to my sheets and in my clothes! Please help!!

I had the same problem about 5 yrs ago after moving into a new apt. In a large apt. Bldg. It wound up costing a lot of $$$. You're on the right track with laundering everything in very HOT water, & a hot dryer. However bedbugs reproduce rapidly and by now they're everywhere u & family members sit, lay, etc.You can buy or rent a steam machine to steam clean your mattress, any upholstered furniture, etc . It's very hard to see bedbug residue. U are better off calling a pest control company, to get rid of the microscopic critters. They're vicious tiny blood suckers. They bite U while U sleep & they'll make your life a living hell. When I had them, I discovered they entered my apt from 2 apts downstairs from mine, & came in from the walls, via electric outlets, & the area around the thermostat on wall, just above my bed. I too, cleaned everything, & thought I was done with it but it took months to get rid of them. Do yourself a favor and call a "pest control" company ASAP. And FYI you can get bb's from anyone, anywhere!! Don't believe it if anyone tells you it's cuz you're not clean enough. People unknowingly bring them in from anyplace they go to, church, school, work, supermkt, Dr's office, anywhere. U can carry them in to your home on your shoes, in your purse, on your coat if you set it down on a chair, anywhere. Go on U-tube, search bedbugs. That'll give you tons of info 😉, good luck getting rid of them. You're going to need luck, & a whole lot more.
Do yourself a favor and call in the pros. You are now infested too and are spreading them around unknowingly. I can tell horror stories about this subject.

It's been 2 years since we stayed at an ocean resort that had bed bugs, I was the 1 bitten and it was a very unpleasant experience to say the least. When we approached the management they confirmed the infestation and took action by calling in the professionals. They were in the couch and my side of the bed and worked fast to get their meals. They pro's cleaned, applied chemicals and heat, the resort took all our laundry, clean and dirty, suitcases, everything. In addition the surrounding rooms and the immediate rooms above and below ours were treated.
By all means call in the pro's. It is a dedicated and tremendous undertaking to do it yourself, eventhough there are self help videos galore.
Sorry, but at this point you need an exterminater. Too far gone
I have already gotten rid of the bugs, I have exterminated. That's not the issue, it's help getting the sticky stuff the eggs are actually attached with to remove the eggs from bedding and clothing! The problem itself has been put to rest. Thank you for your thoughts!
