My HVAC man used a special spray followed by a hose rince. Is this special spray cleaner available to the public? He charged way too much to do this.

Get yourself some pipe bottle cleaners. Something like this from amazon:

You can also find in the baby section of most stores, sippy cup and bottle cleaners that can get into the tiny areas of all those cups which would work great for antique bottles as well. Good luck

I use denture tablets . We use them to clean vases with water stains at a flower shop.
