Hi Ronda, How about using paving stones in a winding way from pavement to door......Set them in the garden between low growing lawn or plants. Both would look great!

I would use the small bricks which come in a variety of styles and colors. Dig out the area to a depth of about 3-4 inches, lay down some sand and level out by tamping. Lay the stones in a pattern you like and then add a bit of sand with dry concrete mixed in to fill in the crack so the weeds and ants do not come up. You can put a plastic edger on the outside rows if you want to hold back any dirt or grass.

  • Hi Ronda - This is a garden path that I completely shocked myself and did all by myself in a weekend. Hope it helps with some inspiration! Hugs, Holly

I like natural flagstone. If they aren't very thick you can just lay them down. Worst case you might have to dig out a spot here and there to make them level. You can put a ground cover between them or leave the grass. Get them from a landscape company.

Hello I am partial to natural rock paths perhaps a trip to your local store yard might give you some ideas to see if it’s something that you like- and within your budget.
