How can I extend my kitchen stone counter to a breakfast counter?
We need to find a way to extend our stone counter to accommodate stools so that we can have a place to sit and eat.. we presently have to move to the dining room to sit down and eat any meal. There is no room for a small breakfast table and chairs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The height of the counter will not accommodate stools and sitting. it would be too low. You need to add height to the counter for a breakfast bar.

I have an elevated bar seating opposite my granite countertop kitchen sink location.
You might consider making a slightly lower counter for the breakfast bar and make it from a different but complimentary material/color so you don't have to match the granite exactly. I was going to post the photo above with the tutorial but they beat me to it, but my added thought is to cover it with tiles or something similar? Hope this helps, Ron!
In an rv we had, we had a hinged section attached to the counter that we could fold up when needed. In your case you might want to use butcher block or wood. Ours had the lock-in-place supports to keep it up, with a release catch to lower it again. Or you could go with the “half table “ look with two legs and the top attached to the side of the counter for something more built-in.
