Can I install oak floor on top of sub floor?
I am tearing out the awful builder grade tile floor in our kitchen this spring and installing an oak floor. The sub floor is 1" OSB. Is it OK to install the oak floor over this?

We have installed a wood floor on a sub floor. I do not remember or know if it was oak, but I would think you should be able to do so. Good luck with that!
