How do I make DIY cleaners that don't stink?
I've recently switched to using vinegar with water to clean windows and some other things, and in the laundry as a softener. My problem is that as a cleaner the vinegar smell lingers, but in the laundry I don't have that problem. Any suggestions that would make it smell pleasant?

Vinegar really doesnāt clean anything. But In the washer I use it to re fluff my towels.
I don't like the smell of vinegar in cleaners either so I made one that doesn't use it. It's for tub and tile: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/bathroom/diy-3-ingredient-tub-and-tile-cleaner-18973805

The odor dissipates quickly enough, if you don't have pets, you can add a few drops of essential oil. I happen to love the smell of vinegar, fresh, crisp and clean.
Simple Green is labeled non-toxic and can be found where most cleaners are found. I have also been told is is slightly toxic, but my sensitive lungs are not bothered by it like other cleaners. We buy the concentrate and use 1 part Simple Green to 7 parts water in a spray bottle for all house hold cleaning including shampooing the carpet (for that I use concentrate in the measuring cup for the container of water)
