How do I bring a patch of dead grass back to life?

So my dogs have created a patch of dead grass from where they’re constantly running. Is there a way to bring it back to life?

fence it off until it regrows;install artificial grass in that area;put down rubber mulch in that strip(easy on their feet gravel cuts their paws);just leave it like it is don't fight/sweat it,it's part of owning dogs

If you can keep them off a small section where they run for a short time, this spray on lawn really works. Our neighbor has several dogs and had the same problem. His looks like sod was put down now!

Hi Ashley. Yes, there is a way to bring it back to life but you will have to keep the dogs off it for 4 to 6 weeks. If you are still interested, begin by tilling up the soil. The soil right now is probably packed down hard. You will need to break it up into pulverized soil. A Rototiller is the best tool for this job, but it can also be done with shovels and pitch forks. (If you don't own a Rototiller, you can rent one from stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, or Menard's.) Once the soil is broken up, you can either spread grass seed or lay sod. Either one will need to be watered gently for 4 to 6 weeks. Good luck Ashley, I wish there was an easy solution for this job.

What about placing a simple piece of wire mesh over the patch, tuck edges in and the dogs can't dig here while it grown back.
