Mine do. I use a bit more vinegar than the directions call for and I let them sit in the food coloring for a long time to get nice vibrant colors. Then use vegetable oil to coat them so they are shiny. I set out at meal time then pop back in the fridge. Linda provided an excellent link. I am doing mine on Friday.
