Put 'em in a box.
Hi , I took a shoe box and covered it in decorative paper, I take the left over bulbs out of their boxes , to save room , and keep them in the box , I also store my batteries in mason jars .
To store them in the least amount of space, use sock drawer organizers in a drawer or box. Remove the bulbs from their packaging and place each bulb in a slot. If you want to keep the packaging, use a plastic basket to store the various packages in. I have an old Xerox paper box that I covered in contact paper. I just place all the light bulbs in the box and store in my garage. I have another one that holds extension cords too.
I use a Rubbermaid tote that is not too big and leave them in their separate boxes if there are multiple bulbs in a package until they are mostly gone. Bulbs are marked as to their wattage, so you should be able to find the size you need. I keep then in my basement storeroom on top of the built-in hutch.
I use a Christmas ornament storage container with partitioned segments for individual ornaments.
