The white blooms don’t necessarily last long, and they naturally turn dark and fall off. Mine is in my window year ‘round, getting watered when the other plants do. Somewhere between Easter and Christmas, I will have 1-2 new shoots and blooms. Like my every-other-year Christmas cactus, I enjoy them when I get them. Happy Spring!
The white "leaves" are flowers and don't last too long. They will die back and fall off, and new ones will grow if you keep it watered properly, in the right light and temperature. I don't think they are fussy plants.
The white leaves aren't leaves at all they are a flower and will not last. Wait til it completely dies/stem too then cut it off. It will rebloom with good strong bright light(not direct sun),dry completely between waterings then water again, good drainage (water runs out of bottom of pot) and don't transplant it(they bloom grow better if more root bound)give it some water soluble miracle grow fertilizer 2 x year just as regular watering.
