The best way is to pull them. You can use a spray, but will have to be very careful not to get it on your flowers. Here's what I use for weeds:
Here's what I use: Take a spray bottle and cover the bottom with salt and fill it up with vinegar. Add a few drops of dish soap and shake. Spray on the weeds.
Hello, I would hand pull weeds perhaps consider mulch with weed barrier underneath. Some have had favorable results with preen.
helpful.

I use a weeding tool for careful areas such as that. It is a pain in the neck but when you don't want to spray poison around your flowers it works. You will have to keep doing it all summer though. https://www.amazon.com/Vremi-Garden-Weeder-Hand-Tool/dp/B01IVV3ERU/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1WDXXZ14GQTOS&keywords=weeding+tools+for+garden&qid=1556717963&s=gateway&sprefix=weeding+to%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-4.
If you’ve a volunteer tree or bush, cut it way back and apply with a disposable tiny art brush, a drop of brush killer on the freshly cut exposed trunk.
Cover with a used soup can to keep rain or water from getting to it, for 2 weeks.
It will be dead & the rest of the trunk can be slightly excavated & cut.
Get yourself a stool and pull /dig them up. No easy way. Most weed killers will kill your plants. You need to work your soil up around the plants anyway.
Dig and pull them using a small hand tool.
