Kim....We share a cabin with friends and finally the bees got so bad the husband's wrapped the areas with aluminum so they would not bore any more. We did notice the last time we were there that there were a few new places so will go back and wrap those areas. Good luck!

I didn't read any of the links, but this worked for me. Fast, cheap & easy.
A squirt of WD40 into holes already made and the bees will disappear.
If a new hole shows up, another squirt of WD40. I did this about 10 years ago
on an old farm porch and they haven't been back.
