Hi Marla, Remove the front frame of the screen to reveal the screen itself. Carefully remove screen and use as a template for replacement. Staple or nail/screw back on as original fixing and then restore back the old frame. Decorate as desired.
You can take to the screen to an independent hardware store. Not a big box store. They often repair these pretty cheap. Other wise you have to purchase specific tools and a roll of screening - cost more than having them do it.
