Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
for what pests? what plants-inside/outside,veggies? what pets-somethings ok for dogs not cats, birds or small mammals, fish, reptiles? I use these beneficial bugs ---Nematodes,Green Lacewings,Live Lady Bugs ,Praying mantis egg cases,Parasitic wasps.I get my gardening stuff from https://www.arbico-organics.com/ Diatomaceous Earth food grade but can be skin/paw irritant and not good if pets sniff & inhale. Most so called non-toxic organic pesticides especially homemade do damage to soil-killing needed microbes for healthy soil plant growth or are harmful/toxic to pets like the oils, spices. I use all the above beneficial insects and if really need something additional I either use water with a little dawn dish soap as spray on plants or Neem oil(rarely....because it stinks, definitely would not put on my pets their noses are even more sensitive than ours) .Neem oil is safe but..... neem oil is a feeding inhibitor, delaying development and growth, reducing fecundity and fertility, changing behavior and causing anomalies in eggs, larvae and adults of insects or mites.Azadirachtin has higher toxicity by ingestion than by contact, which allows it to be used somewhat selectively against phytophagous pests. Although natural enemies(birds, mammals) may ingest contaminated bugs, adverse indirect effects may be negligible because 90% of azadirachtin consumed is eliminated from the body of phytophagous insects seven hours after ingestion.could affect small creatures(birds, mammals, reptiles) that eat the bugs.
Pesticide for what purpose? I have lots of pets and visiting children. And do not use any chemicals unless necessary. What are you trying to achieve?
Diatomaceous earth
Pesticides are not human, pet or earth friendly. What are you trying to kill? Borax is used by many contractors to kill insects in houses.
I use Neem Oil
