Some posted on here, I think it was a soap. Can't remember the brand or name. But the granted it and combined with something. So check out other post. Hope this helps.
Rabbit and Deer are easily startled by movement. Every year after planting the garden I push short post (aprox 3 ft tall) into the ground around my garden 5-6 feet apart. Next tie a string to a empty gal milk jug and attach to the post. Any slight wind will create movement thus keeping out the rabbits and deer. Simple, environmentally friendly, and almost free. And it works!
Grated Irish Spring soap (green original), human hair, & there is a repellent spray also.
I don't know about deer, I haven't had a problem with them yet. I use a generous sprinkling of Cayenne Pepper powder around everything that is young and succulent and what they like to eat. After doing that, I use a small hand grater and grate Irish Spring (original scent) all over the area, too. I have had much less rabbit, squirrel and chipmunk eating and digging in the garden. They don't like the strong scents. The pepper powder needs to be reapplied more frequently than the soap, especially if it rains. I hope that can help you, Lynn!
