What paint to use on vinyl?

There is paint that is formulated for plastic, which vinyl is a type of plastic. It will depend on the application & type of vinyl in order to choose the correct one.
What kind of vinyl? Flooring, upholstery, etc.
If it's fabric, try chalk paint.
Rustoleum 2X is my fave spray and brush-on paint for plastic vinyl.
Thank you all for your comments. It is for vinyl laminate flooring but it has been put on the side of the bath.
