GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning. Depending on your budget. Get free quotes from at least three roofing contractors. Don't always settle for the cheapest or the highest quote. Get details on the job in writing and compare. Check licensing, bonding, insurance and warranty. Ask for previous customers that you can verify. Look up reviews online.
Any new roof replacement will stop the leaking. It depends on what you want to afford.

Hello Mamie,
I don't know what style of roof you have or what colour you like so I would recommend you go to a Building centre and enquire about them. Take a picture f your roof showing tiles or Shingles with you. Or call a Roofing Co. and ask for price to fix it for you. Or if it needs doing now and you are happy being up a ladder and have a friend to help you, Stretch a Tarpaulin over area and tie down. They do make sealant type paint such as Roofix which is also an option............
If you are going to DIY a fix, roofing tar might be your answer. Most asphalt shingles are similar in quality and warranty as long as you go with a good brand like William listed.
You might be able to file a claim with your homeowner's insurance. I had no idea I had extensive wind & hail damage until I got a roofing estimate for replacement.
