Can I use paint on old floor grout lines or is Grout Renew best?
Grout is years old and dingy. Trying to avoid having to scrape out old grout and put in new. Four large rooms! Kitchen and bath are worse than living areas.
I would not recommend doing this. The old carpet will not be strong enough to support the moving weight that the artificial grass will be subject to. Eventually it will flatten, disintegrate, and shift, resulting in your turf wearing unevenly.
Artificial turf if installed correctly, can give the look of green lawn for many maintenance-free years to come. However, proper preparation of the area is key longevity and durability.

Not sure what you asking. But if you are wanting to.put carpet over carpet outside it could develop mold.
And turn into a giant roach hotel.
Using old carpet under artificial grass is not a good option. It will not drain any water properly and you will have mold, bugs, and it will rot and stink. You will eventually have to redo your artificial grass. Do it the right way the first time!
