We have old red pained plywood cabinets and I would like to replace the doors only to save on cost. They are not standard cabinets since they are old. Do I need to have someone make them or can I DIY?

You can purchase or DIY. Use the correct wood or they will warp over time. If you need help, give these guys a jingle. I have been using them for decades, I think as far back as the 60's.
