I’m not bothered by rabbits but a squirrel family is driving me nuts. I’ve tried everything to stop them from digging up plants, bulbs and seedlings. I had used cayenne pepper with some good results but they seemed to get used to it. I went to get more only to find they just had chili powder so I bought some of it. For some reason, it has worked. I reapply a bit more after rain. I bought a new plant and forgot to put chili powder on the soil. And the darn squirrels dug it up. Hope it works for you.
Hi Donna
I have the same problem...along with deer, bear, fox, chipmunks and I use Bobbex. I put that *!+# on everything! They make one specific to your varmint so for your purposes use this one:

I get it at Home Depot.
Good luck!
