Hi there, well it depends on what you have as an option for cutting and how big the pipe is. I've had no trouble cutting PVC with a wood blade on my miter saw, my jig saw and my reciprocating saw. Just make sure and wear eye protection and GO SLOW. Its plastic so it has a tendency to fracture.

We use a hacksaw. Don't put a lot of pressure on it as it may crack.

You can easily cut it with an inexpensive pipe cutter tool (unless the diameter is huge). You attach the tool, twirl it around the pipe and done - it's cut. As at your Home Depot or Lowes. Show them your pipe size and ask if there's a cutter that will cut your size. Once you buy it, you find it's VERY useful as it will cut all kinds of pipe.
