Hang upside down to dry. Storing??? Pretty brittle once dried and fragile.
Hi Tonie. I'm Cindy. I dried flowers last Spring. I made small groupings that included flowers, leafs, and baby's breath. I wrapped rubber bands around the bottoms of each group. Then I used safety pins to poke thru the rubber band and attach to the curtains in my kitchen. It takes approx a month to complete the drying process. Good luck.
After you've dried your flowers, if you want to preserve them, go to a home improvement store, like Depot, and get a can of clear acrylic spray, and spray them. Several light passes is the best approach, rather than a continuous pssssssssssssst. Each spray should be from a different direction, so either you move and the flower remains stationary, or you rotate the flower, so you end up lightly spraying it all around, and dont forget down from the top. Perhaps you might stand it in a soda bottle. Do this 3 times, allowing drying time between sprays, and your flowers will not crumble when touched.
Dry flowers up side down the nicer the flower condition the prettier it will look dried
