How to remove a crust on brass?
I have a brass lamp with crust on parts of it. I’ve tried regular brass cleaner but that didn’t help. It has some black spots as well. It’s a pretty lamp and I don’t want to toss it. Thanks for any suggestions

If calcium, try vinegar to dissolve the deposit.
Oddly enough, have you tried catsup? The acid from the tomatoes gets rid of the spots.
