This stuff gets rid of everything! Beware that it smells a little funky just as you're using it, but it'll wash away right after.
For actual silver you can line a bucket with aluminum foil, pour in boiling water, add 3 Tbsps of baking soda and let the pieces soak for 10 minutes... that with a little elbow grease after will likely get rid of it.
If it's corroded metal and not silver there isn't a lot you can do. You might try spray painting them with Rustoleum.
Try balling up a piece of foil and rubbing that on the rust. I did that on my dad's walker and it looked almost brand new when finished.
