What kind of area are you working with?
Make sure your zone won't destroy in the winter. If it gets extreme, them put in planters so you can pull in when there is a frost. Make sure the soil is well draining. I prefer succulents with pea gravel but you can use large rocks if you would prefer or a mixture of sizes.
You might get lucky and catch them on mark down. I was in 2 Lowes stores yesterday, 1 had regular price but the other had them for $1 - $10 at least 50% markdown. I bought several with colors to add to my collection.
Loretta...You can use flower pots with the rock, even turn them over to make it appear it has spilled. Do you intend to do raised area or use edging then fell with rock and succulents? Other plants or flowers would also be nice. Good luck
