Think mixture of vinegar and salt
Yes vinegar will kill weeds and is a better alternative than using chemicals. I would use the more concentrated kind that is used for cleaning available at your hardware or lumber yard stores. Vinegar will not hurt your garden if not over done. Vinegar raises the PH factor that means your soil may be acidic. It will not contaminate your garden like chemicals.

This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
Not really. There are several recipes that use vinegar as a weed killer on the internet, but they only kill the foliage part of the weed and not the root. It may kill annual weeds with small root systems but not perennial weeds like dandelions and crab grass. There is also a horticultural strength vinegar that is available on Amazon, but I wouldn't use it. It is not safe for you or for your soil. I think you'll be better off in the long run by just taking 10 - 15 minutes a day and weeding by hand or with a shovel. The best time to pull weeds is after a rain shower. To prevent weeds from coming back. Use a layer of newspaper or cardboard and cover that with a good shredded wood mulch. Good luck!
