I only use the product (Bellawood) that the floor company recommended. I sweep & clean daily because of the foot prints & shoes etc.
Hi Lada, you can purchase shoe stretchers that might help!
IF they are tight, stuffing the toe area to stretch out using newspaper packed in will help.
IF the material is too stiff, sit and "massage" the shoe area while you're doing something like watching tv or reading.
If leather, they can be stretched. If man made material, take them back, and try another size or just find something else. Your feet need to be happy. If your feet hurt wearing the shoes, you will end up tossing to the back of the closet and then it was just wasted money.
I have taken a cotton ball, put alcohol on it and rubbed the place in my shoe that was tight. Then immediately put the shoe on and wear it till it is dry. Be sure you do not get alcohol on the outside of your shoe.
Naomie is right that only genuine leather can be stretched.
Vinyl, synthetic, or 'manmade leather' cannot.
